Frequently Asked Questions
Shopify is built for commerce at scale. It gives brands a single platform for DTC, B2B, and international selling without the infrastructure overhead of enterprise legacy systems. Native features cover everything from complex checkout flows and ERP integrations to multi-currency pricing and B2B company accounts. Shopify ships over 100 platform improvements every six months, and with a total cost of ownership up to 36% lower than major competitors, it is increasingly the platform of choice for brands that have outgrown their current setup.
Every build starts with a clear scope, either through a Shopify Discovery or a direct scoping conversation, before any work begins. We build native-first using Shopify's premium themes and platform functionality, which keeps your store faster to launch, less expensive to maintain, and easier for your team to manage day to day. From there we configure integrations, payment setup, and any B2B or market-specific requirements, and we stay involved through launch and beyond.
A straightforward store build typically takes a few weeks. Projects involving ERP integrations, B2B functionality, or significant data requirements take longer, usually two to four months depending on scope and client-side complexity. We define a realistic timeline as part of every scoping process so there are no surprises going in.
Yes. We build both, and often both at once. Many of our clients run wholesale and direct-to-consumer from a single Shopify store, while others operate dedicated B2B storefronts alongside their DTC setup. Shopify's native B2B functionality covers company accounts, customer-specific pricing, payment terms, and self-serve buying, and we help you choose the right model and configure it correctly from the start. Whether your primary channel is B2B, DTC, or a blend of both, we build to support how your business actually operates.
Integrations are where complexity lives in most mid-market projects. We work with ERP systems, PIM, WMS, and marketing tools, connecting them to Shopify via native connectors, Shopify APIs, or iPaaS middleware depending on what the architecture requires. Our approach is always to use what the platform provides natively before adding complexity. We have experience with systems including Visma, Fortnox, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and a range of Nordic-specific platforms.
Shopify Payments is the recommended starting point. It is fully integrated into the platform, which means faster checkout, simplified reconciliation, and no transaction fees on top of payment processing costs. It supports all major card networks and local payment methods including Klarna, Vipps, MobilePay, and Swish across Nordic markets. For merchants with specific requirements, Shopify also supports a hybrid checkout model where Shopify Payments handles the primary flow while third-party gateways such as Adyen or Stripe are added for specific payment methods, markets, or B2B use cases. This gives you flexibility without sacrificing the native checkout experience.
We offer ongoing Shopify management through three service plans: Support for on-demand expert help, Advanced for continuous hands-on management and development, and Plus for full-service strategic management of Shopify Plus stores. All plans include a dedicated point of contact and direct access to our team. Shopify ships significant platform updates regularly, and having a partner who monitors and implements those changes is one of the most effective ways to keep your store competitive after launch.
